The COREX facilities located at the Dangjin Plant District B of INI Steel (formerly Hanbo Steel), which failed to become the next-generation steelmaking facilities, will fade away into a history. INI Steel has set a plan to begin to dismantle the 2 units of the facilities in February on a full scale. The surrounding of the facilities has been kept in good order in preparation for the scheduled facility disassembly work. It will take about 4 months to remove the facilities from the plant and therefore, if every thing goes on schedule, the 104.5-meter-high COREX facilities will completely disappear within the first half of this year.
