LG Electronics New Drum Washing Machines Requiring 15kg of GA Debuted

LG Electronics has launched 3 models of the worlds largest 12-kg capacity TROMM washing machines along with another 3 models of built-in TROMM, which can wash even thick quilts. Since the drum-type washing machine put on the market this time requires a structurally higher strength than the ordinary ones, galva-annealed steel sheets (GA) with 1.0mm in thickness are used in the manufacturing of them. About 3.5kg of GA is used for the front cover of a washing machine and 11.5 kg per unit for side plates, which means a total of about 15kg is used as outer shell materials.
