8th March 2015 is International women's day therefore I have been reflecting on the slow progress that women have made in penetrating the science based businesses, including the chemical industry. Most of the meetings I attend around the world in this sector, whether it is business or conferences, are always male dominated. It seems that little or no progress is being made despite all attempts at equal opportunity policies from many Governments around the world.
