Shipbuilding Industry to Lead Demand for Machine Tools in Second Half

It is expected that local shipbuilding industry will lead the demand for machine tools in the second half of the year. Taking a look at the demand for machine tools from major consuming sectors in the first half of this year, demand from shipbuilding industry surged 19.1% from a year ago, while demand from automotive industry dived 55.6% from a year earlier.
