Hyundai Steel raised its import prices for Japanese steel scrap on December 20. The new prices, which will be applied to its three plants, have gone up by 300 yen per ton. By grade, its new purchasing prices are 38,800 yen per ton for the degree of H2 on a CFR basis, 41,800 yen for P&S and 42,800 yen for galvanized iron.
