Working hard on pollination issues

I am pleased to report that the NBA Pollination Committee had its first face-to-face meeting during the annual conference in Auckland on 28 June. Formed one year ago, we are a small group of six people who keep contact by phone and email on pollination issues affecting beekeepers. Since last year, we have addressed the following issues: 1. represented beekeepers'views for protocols on placement of beehives into kiwifruit orchards during the Psa incursion.This is an ongoing consultation with the kiwifruit industry.
