The identification of dentures may also be needed in places such as senior citizen centers or hospitals. A 2-dimensional (2-D) bar code can hold a substantial amount of information as data is coded across both length and width. Additionally, its incorporation into a removable prosthesis is a simple and inexpensive laboratory procedure.
