The child was born vaginally. It was depressed. The pediatrician took the baby administering oxygen and drugs. The fetal monitor had shown dropping heart beats with almost every contraction. Weeks later, the baby was not feeding well. Months later, the baby was not sitting up, pulling up, or trying to walk or feed himself. There was no social interaction. The pediatrician says the baby probably has cerebral palsy, and he may be mentally retarded. The parents are angry.
