Laura Perez is a tireless Costa Ricanwoman. Not only is she the mother ofthree children, she's also president ofher own gardening company, CorazonVerde. Lately, she has turned her naturalrestlessness to learning about hydroponiccultivation. She became convinced thathydroponics had a lot to offer CostaRicans, and in 2002 started to teach it.In March, after years of thinking andplanning, Laura Perez realized a dream byorganizing the First International Hydroponics Congress in Costa Rica. The eventwas held at Earth University, in Cuasimode Limon, and 115 people attended, fromMexico, Chile, Nicaragua, Guatemala, ElSalvador, United States, Colombia, Honduras, Bolivia and Panama.
