Wrist triggering is an uncommon condition that may be caused by a tumour originating from a flexor tendon, an anomalous muscle or a combination of the two (Suematsu et al., 1985). Further to the report of wrist triggering secondary to a giant cell tumour and anomalous lumbrical muscle (Takase and Sato, 2010), we present two cases of wrist triggering caused by a flexor tendon fibroma, one of which was associated with carpal tunnel syndrome.
