New approach to risk management

Standards Australia's highly successful, world-first Standard for risk management, AS/NZS 4360, is being revised to ensure it represents current best practice. Public survey indicated that the overall direction and content of the Standard was considered to be a very useful process to assist with the development of an effective risk management culture in an organisation of any size. Many respondents indicated a need to reorder the presentation so as to place Communication and Consultation into a more prominent position along with the need to more clearly explain the Context stage of the process.
