摘要

Changes in plasma corticosterone and HSP70 profile in tissue lysates of broiler birds under heat stress along with or without vit-C supplementation have been studied in this investigation. The levels of corticosterone and HSP70 were significantly higher in heat stressed (40°C) broiler birds in comparison to control group (26°C). Supplementation of vit-C reduced the level of plasma corticosterone and HSP70 in tissue lysate indicating better capability to sustain under heat stress conditions.
