ACROSOMAL CHANGES OF BUCK SPERMATOZOA AFTER EQUILIBRATION AND FREEZING IN EGG YOLK CITRATE GLYCEROL EXTENDER

There has been a growing interest for artificial insemination in goat by frozen semen in this region and for its successful result, the knowledge of various morphological changes of spermatozoa before and after freezing is important. Although several studies on the freezing of buck semen of different breeds have been conducted in different parts of the country, a systematic study is still lacking in this region. The present study was undertaken to record the effect of egg yolk citrate glycerol extender during different hours of equilibration and after freezing of buck semen.
