Haemato-biochemical studies on endosulfan toxicity in the broiler chicken.

摘要

Toxic effect of endosulfan on haematological and some biochemical parameters were studied in broiler chicks from day old to 6 weeks. The haematological changes indicated physiological dysfunctioning of the haemopoietic system in endosulfan toxicity. Biochemical estimation revealed significant increase in the serum glucose and cholesterol levels and significant decrease in the serum albumin level in endosulfan toxicity.
