Knowledge Management systems are getting more and more perfected, more and more specialized, and at the same time getting more and more complex as they are being constructed out of more and more software suites, (see fig. 1 and fig. 2) The more sophisticated a knowledge application domain is - be it for research and develop, be it for exploitation - the more knowledge management is crucial for sustainability of the domain of activity as well as survival in the competition. Monitoring of Active Tectonic structures and in particular 3D Monitoring of Active Tectonic structures is today a highly sophisticated domain, in which knowledge management tools are very relevant and ad rem.
