Rankin~R Automation has introduced two new automated hardfacing machines that make uniform tungsten carbide deposits for extreme wear resistance and hardfacing applications. The new line offers portable to heavy-duty machines designed to help improve part service life and the effective use of equipment and tools subjected to severe abrasion. The Manual Vibratory Carbide Feeder is a hand-held feeder for all grades of tungsten carbide. If offers tungsten carbide concentration up to 75 percent, decreased carbide dilution, fast deposit rates, and thicker deposits for longer life, according to the company. It integrates with almost all GMAW machines.
