Dutch army buys Agfa systems for disposing World War II explosives

Agfa has supplied the Dutch army with two systems for digital radiography. This is the first order for systems that combine the technology of digital systems from RADView with X-ray systems from Agfa's recent acquisitions, Pantak and Seifert. The Dutch land forces are using the systems, one stationary and one mobile, for clearing explosive devices that date from World War II. Bombs and grenades from that period still are found every day in the Netherlands. Checking the contents of possible parcel bombs is another application.
