Fabtech 2010 Proves to be a Real Show-Stopper

The 2010 FABTECH exposition and conference proved to be a real show-stopper based on attendance figures and feedback from attendees and exhibitors at the recently concluded event. Some 22,000 visitors traveled to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta to experience the latest manufacturing innovations and discuss industry issues -an increase of 12 percent over the 2006 Atlanta show. Filling nearly 371,000 square feet of booth space, the three-day show hosted 1,138 exhibitors, an increase of 23 percent from the last time the show was in Atlanta. The event also featured the unveiling of more than 500 new products.
