At the PRiME 2008 meeting in Honolulu,Hawaii in October 2008,the Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry,Energy Technology,and the Industrial Electrolysis and Electrochemical Engineering Divisions hosted the PROTON EXCHANGE MEMBRANE FUEL CELLS SYMPOSIUM.It was organized by T.E Fuller,S.Cleghorn,H.A.Gasteiger,M.Inaba,C.Lamy,S.Mitsushima,H.Nakagawa,V.Ramani,K.Shinohara,P.Shirvanian,P.Strasser,H.Uchida,and T.Zawodzinski.Since its inception in 1995,the PEMFC symposium has continued to grow and 2008 was the largest to date with well over 370 invited and contributed talks and posters.
