Bradycellus csikii Laczó (Carabidae) in the West Midlands region - one to look out for

On 25 September 2012 I spent several hours sieving rafts of vegetation thrown onto grassland by floods next to the River Tame at Water Orton in Warwickshire (SP182914). I took a blackish Bradycellus which I later identified as a female Bradycellus csikii Laczo. The catchment of the flood included nearby post-industrial ground and the samples also contained two carabid species more often encountered on disturbed sites: Amara eurynota (Panzer) and Platyderus depressus (Audinet-Serville).
