Training for managers: an industry view, that confirms this approval

Managers might be forgiven for thinking that,with the wave of downsizing and de-layering which has occurred over the last ten years, the chemical industry has little need for middle managers. In fact, the opposite is the case. This surge of re-engineering in the industry has produced a gap in the training and career development of the next generation of managers.
