摘要

US EPA has proposed a rule that would revise labeling requirements for certain active and inert pesticide ingredients in minimum risk pesticides. The proposal applies to products that EPA may exempt from requirements under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). However, EPA says it is important to note the agency is only providing clarity concernExxonMobil ing the ingredients that are currently used in exempted products and is not proposing to add or remove ingredients from the list.EPA’s proposal would reorganize the lists of eligible active and inert ingredients by adding specific chemical indentifiers to make it clearer to manufacturers, the public, and most importantly, federal and state inspectors which ingredients are permitted in minimum risk pesticide products,” says the law firm Bergeson & Campbell (Washington).
