Drilling boosts Jiama resources 443%

INFILL and step-out drilling at China Gold International Resources Corp's Jiama Copper-Gold and Polymetallic Project in Tibet Autonomous Region has expanded the overall resource and increased the measured and indicated resources by 443%. These results have prompted the company to proceed with planning to support a major mine expansion. The drilling program resulted in the upgrading of a significant amount of the inferred resources to measured and indicated status. The total measured and indicated resource has increased from 185.1 million tonnes averaging 0.74% copper and containing 1.38 million tonnes of copper, to 1.006 billion tonnes averaging 0.41% copper containing 4.08 million tonnes of copper.
