Drilling expands Simuku cooper boundaries

THE first phase of drilling at Coppermoly's Simuku project on the island of New Britain in Papua New Guinea has confirmed widespread copper and molybdenum mineralization. Fifteen diamond drill holes, totalling 4194 metres; have been drilled at the Nayam and Misili prospects. A drill hole at Nayam intersected 282 metres from 18 metres downhole grading 0.45% copper, 64 ppm molybdenum, 0.7 grams/tonne gold and 2.0 grams/tonne silver, for 0.58% copper equivalent. Drilling confirmed southwest extensions of mineralization beneath the Nayam trench at surface, which intersected 117 metres of 0.60% copper.
