The CW75 index fell by less than 1% for the week ending November 2, slightly lagging broader markets. The stock market finished flat, following a rally at the end of the week because of an expected Republican party victory in the U.S. mid-term elections, and positive earnings results from European companies. Basic and diversified chemical shares fell by 1.3%, and less than 1%, respectively. Specialty chemical shares were flat. Forty stocks rose, nine were flat, and 26 fell.
