The CW75 index rose 3% for the week ended 5 March, outpacing the MSCI World Index and the S&P 500, which rose 2.5% and 2.9%, respectively. Basic chemical shares rose 3.5%, diversified shares increased 2.9%, and specialty stocks were up 3.3%. Ferro posted the biggest gain for the week, at 27.3%, followed by Shanghai Petrochemical and Huntsman, with gains of 17.6% and 12.2%, respectively.
