Fiddling around with Carving a Fiddle

We never really escape our childhood. My favourite uncle used to play a bluegrass fiddle, and I enjoyed his playing so much that I wanted to learn now. My mum and dad bought me a cheap violin and I joined the sixth grade orchestra at school.From the first, it was a disaster. For one thing, they didn't play bluegrass. For another, I have always been about as coordinated as a pig playing chess. And then I never practised enough.
