Dow Corning CEO to retire after Dow Chemical acquires full control of JV

Dow Corning chairman and CEO Robert Hansen will retire from the com- pany after Dow Chemical becomes 100% owner of Dow Corning. Dow has named Howard Ungerleider, vice chairman and CFO of Dow as chair- man of Dow Corning, and Mauro Gregorio, who is currently vp leading the Dow Corning integration, as CEO of Dow Corning. Dow announced plans to acquire Corning’s 50% share of Dow Corning in December and the deal is expected to close later in the second quarter.
