摘要

The term "differentiated instruction" has become a fixture in today's educational culture, replacing some of the old buzz words such as mainstreaming and inclusion (Hall, Strangman & Meyer, 2009). Many educators, however, still struggle with the lookand feel of differentiated instruction. Defining it is the easy part; however, describing how to put it into practice and what it should look like is much more difficult for even experienced educators to envision. Knowing the basics from lesson planningto assessment can assist educators in breaking down the process for ease in utilization. Differentiating is as important for the educator as it is for the student.
