Global oil prices were volatile last week, with prices sliding fol- lowing a sharp increase of over 2.4 million bbl in crude inven- tories and tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, while gains were supported by a surprise win by Republican Donald Trump in the US presidential election. With energy values slightly weaker than the prior week, North America light olefins continued to decline, while aromatics were mixed.
