摘要

The demand for more accurate fuel measurements for testing new engines has pushed the current design of fuel measurement systems to their limits. Engine test facilities are now requesting more accurate flow measurements at low idle flows as part of transient test cycles. This desire requires fuel systems capable of precision measurements of ±0.25 per cent or better of reading, and fast response times to capture these changes in flow. With the introduction of returnless fuel engines, these capabilities are now more achievable with newly designed fuel measurement systems.
