Chevron to Ship Its 1st LNG Cargo from Gorgon Project in Early 2016

Chevron Corporation, the operator of the Gorgon LNG project, a LNG production project in Australia, reportedthe status of progress of the project. It expects the first shipment from the project to be made in early 2016.At the LNG plant located on Barrow Island, preparations are underway to put the liquefaction train 1 into operation.A LNG cargo is expected to arrive in mid-December to assist in cooling down the LNG tanks and associatedfacilities.
