Corpus Christi LNG Makes Another Step Forward

Corpus Christi LNG, a project to produce and export LNG of which development has been promoted by Cheniere Energy, has made a step forward when Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) released an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in which the commission basically approved the project to go ahead. FERC released its final EIS on the proposed project on October 8, in which it concluded that the adverse environmental impacts the project may cause would not be significant as long as Cheniere’s proposed mitigation and FERC’s recommendation presented in EIS are properly implemented.
