Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, or FPCC, in Taiwan decided to start its regular inspection of No.2 naphtha cracker, capable of producing 1,035,000 MT per year of ethylene, on October 5th, which is expected to last for 42-45 days. On the other hand, the schedule for No.1 cracker to start operation, of which production capacity is 700,000 tpy, is still up in the air, which requires a permission of Taiwan authority.
