Glencore plc is the world’s leading coal supplier which develops a coal export business in 3 countries such asAustralia, South Africa and Colombia. Especially in the division of thermal coal and semi-soft coking coal, the Companyhas a big share overwhelming others.Glencore produced a total coal of 131.5 million tons (based on an interest holding, hereinafter the same) in thecalendar year 2015, the breakdown of which was 65.8 million tons in Australia, 37.0 million tons in South Africa and 28.7million tons in Colombia. The production volume by coal type in Australia was 5.9 million tons of hard coking coal, 3.6million tons of semi-soft coking coal, 13.6 million tons of thermal coal for export and 3.9 million tons of thermal coal fordomestic consumption.
