Arinay coal terminal project aims to construct a large-scale coal terminal in the Arinay Lagoon facing the BeringSea so as to export metallurgical coal produced from Amaam project in the Chukotka Province. Tigers Realm CoalLimited, Australia is pushing forward with this project.The distance from the site planned to be developed by Amaam project to the site where the coal terminal in theArinay Lagoon is planned to be constructed is about 30 km. The coal shipping capacity at the coal terminal is expected tobe 15Mtpa. The length of sea transportation from this terminal to Japan and South Korea is 8 days.
