The negotiations on Australian thermal coal contract for the fiscal year 2011 (starting in April 2011) with electric power companies have been resumed. As last week, Xstrata, Australian coal supplier, arrived at Japan once again. The representatives of Xstrata visited electric power companies in the western area of Japan such as Chugoku electric Power and others on 31st March, the last day of the fiscal year 2010 and entered negotiations.
