Westmoreland Coal Company (WLB), USA finished a takeover of San Juan coal mine. This coal mine was takenover from BHP Billiton (BHPB), and the takeover amount was US$127 million.San Juan coal mine is a thermal coal mine in the suburbs of Farmington in New Mexico, and produced 5.609million tons of coal in 2014 and 4.905 million tons in 2015. Thermal coals produced at this coal mine have been shipped tothe local thermal power plant.
