CHINA: BASF startswork on 60,0000tpa PolyTHF site

BASF has laid the cornerstone of its new Chinese production facility for PolyTHF, the feedstock for elastic spandex fibre, thermoplastic polyurethanes and cast elastomers. The 60,000tpa unit is the largest of its type in the world and the first wholly owned operation in China.
