Dow Chemical is set to pursue legal action against Kuwait's state-owned oil company,Petrochemicals Industries Co(PIC),following its shock withdrawal from the K-Dow joint venture on 31 December.PIC blamed its change of heart on falling oil prices and growing global financial uncertainties.The deal would have seen Dow transferring ownership of several basic plastics plants to the Kuwaitis.
