The vice president of Dow for Europe, Middle East and Africa told Urethanes Technology International he believes that polyurethane markets will grow in 2015. Jon Penrice, vp of polyurethanes at Dow for EMEA, is particularly optimistic about the growth of polyurethanes in energy efficiency applications, where regulations continue to drive the use of better-performing materials and systems. The company also sees increasing demand for its new products that offer improved sustainability profiles, including greater energy efficiency and lower flammability.
