Brooklyn, New York-Three polyurethane automotive foam producers have been ordered to share a $6.1 m (?4.4m) fine for price-fixing after entering guilty pleas at the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Riverside Seat Co, Woodbridge Foam Fabricating Inc and SW Foam LLC pleaded guilty to a one-count felony charge that they conspired with others to fix prices for polyurethane flexible slabstock automotive foam in the US and elsewhere. The charge related to the period from June 2008 until the following April. The companies have agreed to pay a total of $6,148,800 in criminal fines and cooperate with the department's ongoing investigation.
