Acute and chronic end-stage liver diseases have few successful therapeutic options, except for liver transplantation. Hepatic artery complications can occur and can lead to significant morbidity, mortality, and even retransplantation in the postoperative period. US is a valuable screening technique for the evaluation of early and delayed vascular complications and is often used as the initial imaging modality because of its accessibility, cost effectiveness, and noninvasive nature.
