Indianapolis coal plant will convert to natural gas by 2014 to meet EPA standards

Pink Floyd might have said it's just another brick in the wall and some people will say it's just a drop in the bucket, but another coal plant is being switched over to natural gas because of looming EPA regulations. Citizens Energy Group has said it will convert its Perry K Steam Plant in downtown Indianapolis from coal burning to natgas burning beginning next year. The utility said the EPA's Boiler MACT II rules forced the move and converting to natural gas would be cheaper than the modifications needed to continue burning coal.
