Seafood Prix d'Elite Special Award Goes to Rahbekfisk for Prepared Dishes

Danish company wins one for the frozen side, as top retail and catering honors respectively go to KB Regeri for smoked tapas and L&B Taspac for whole-shell mussels with natural juice. Although frozen entrants melted against competition from smoked fish and vacuum-packed mussels in the battle for top honors in the Seafood Prix d'Elite competition in Brussels, Rahbekfisk A/S was proud to receive a special award for its range of frozen prepared fish dishes. The winning new product line features five recipes: Cod with Pasta, Tomato and Spinach; Wild Salmon en Croute; Wild Salmon with Pasta and Red Peppers in a Cheese Sauce with Pesto; Breaded Fish Roll stuffed with Salmon and Horseradish; and a Breaded Fish Roll containing saithe with creamy garlic.
