U.S.box shipments came in weaker than expected in October,casting more uncertainty over the attempt to raise containerboard prices by 40/ton on Jan.1.Box shipments totaled 34.9 billion ft~2,down 3.1% from a year ago on an actual- and down 7.5% on a same-day basis from a year ago.
