Tembec studies adding capacity by 2015 as part of $100 million project

Tembec revealed it is studying to raise dissolving pulp (DP) capacity and add a co-generation plant at its mill in Temiscaming, QC. In a presentation at the Imperial Capital Conference, the company showed a plan for a 30,000 tonnes/yr capacity expansion and 10 MW waste liquor cogen plant to be completed in December 2015. It is under study and not yet approved, CEO James Lopez told investors, according to press reports.
