Tembec studies expansion of DP capacity at Temiscaming

Tembec is considering increasing its capacity for dissolving pulp (DP) at its site in Temiscaming, Canada. According to a plan presented by the company at the beginning of October at the Imperial Capital Conference in New York, Tembec is studying the prospect of raising dissolving pulp production capacity by up to 30,000 tpy by December 2015. Furthermore, electricity generation from waste liquor would be increased by another 10 Megawatts. The company pegged the investment volume at CADI 00m.
