摘要

It is an accepted fact that TQM, though necessary for success, is not sufficient enough for survival in today's highly competitive world, since increment approaches are not adequate to satisfy present day customers. The rapid change relies more on the individual intelligence and creativity and less upon practical experience, since experience lags behind development. Ancient Tamil literature in India provides abundant Strategie factors to be considered in the management, survival and success of any business. This paper restricts itself to the literature of Thirukkural, Aathichudi and Kondraivendhan - referred to ?s Kural, AC and KV, respectively - out of a vast spectrum of ancient Tamil treatises. The verses of the classics are referred to by verse numbers in brackets. (35 refs.)
