Usually, farmers adopt same technology for spraying herbicide as they are using for spraying insecticides, which is entirely different. So weeds, some times, are not controlled up to the desired level. The success in chemical weed control depends uponthe quality of purchased herbicides and its spraying technology. Some times due to faulty application technology even very effective herbicides do not show desirable results. All the weeds will be killed/controlled only if the herbicide is sprayed uniformly so that the lethal dose is received by individual weed plant.
